A-Frame Construction
A-frame construction: a framework for a structure with a triangular cross-section and a capital “A” appearance. People living in this house have an outside design that looks like the letter A.
Simple one- and two-story buildings are constructed using A-frames, which have sloping legs with symmetrical or non-symmetrical slopes linked at the top and supported farther down by a horizontal cross-member.
